Description The Quality and Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for ensuring the organization's products and services meet company quality requirements, addressing quality concerns and driving quality improvements through root cause analysis, while also optimizing production processes by defining current state, collaborating with a cross functional team to define a future state, perform a gap analysis, and manage a project plan achieve the future state. A successful candidate will be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and be familiar with tools such as time studies, takt time/cycle time, value stream mapping, Six Sigma, 5S methodology, Pareto, SPC, and able to define operator standard work to ensure quality is built and not inspected into the product.
