Job Description Description SAIC is seeking a Design Engineer to join our San Diego team . The successful candidate will provide engineering design and drafting services to. This work requires an understanding of C4I and enterprise IT network systems infrastructure and expertise in 2D renderings, developing, modifying, and maintaining engineering drawings and documentation using computer-aided design (CAD) software to ensure accuracy, compliance, and effective communication of design requirements. *Up to 25% of travel required for this role, both domestic and foreign.* JOB DUTIES: Engineering drafting, drawing review, drawing control in the design of electronic/computer network equipment, systems and installations. Produce mechanical, electrical/electronic drawings from rough engineering sketches and preparing drawing layouts from one or more engineering sketches.
