Description Position at Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, Inc. QA New Model Engineer III Basic Purpose 1) Support the PPAP Team / QA New Model MGMT in the preparation of equipment, mating parts, fixtures and jigs in order to complete dimensional and testing analysis for new programs, products, processes, and design changes. 2)Track and follow up on approval status with customers for PPAPs, SCR, Advance Notice, and ESERs. Prepare and submit documents timely per customer requirements and SEWS requirements. Meet with and track customer approvals for timely response. 3)Investigate functional failures of new parts. Develop better testing methods and design any necessary testing jigs to ensure a stable test setup.
