The FE Technician acts in support of the Facilities Engineers in completing projects in many roles. After being given general instructions the FE Tech must be self-managed in accomplishing all dictated tasks. There will be heavy recon work in/on the site, plant, and office. As in vetting CAD drawings dimensions and accuracy, moving materials with a forklift or pallet jack, vertical lift work, light assembly of fixtures and furniture. Meeting and proposal work including note taking and presentation work. Also, some small projects will be given to this role as a growth vehicle. Position Responsibilities may include; • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and utilities) • Respond to work orders and troubleshoot basic-to-intermediate system issues • Escalate complex problems to Facilities Engineers or senior technicians • Support equipment uptime and assist with minimizing operational disruptions • Execute preventive and...
