The Opportunity: A Tailings & Mine Closure Management Practice group is seeking a Senior Hydrotechnical Tailings Engineer for its Montreal office. This role is ideal for a highly motivated technical specialist who wants to help grow hydrotechnical and tailings capabilities within the North American team. The position reports to the North American Practice Leader for Tailings. What You'll Be Doing: • Delivering technical support on water management tasks, including baseline hydrology, water balance studies, water management plans, hydraulic modelling and design, dam break and flood inundation studies, sediment and erosion control plans, mine water operations, and closure/construction water management. • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated solutions for tailings, mine waste, and mine water management, including site selection, dewatering technologies, subsurface investigations, material characterization, transport and conveyance studies,...
