Responsibilities This is an onsite position at Peraton's customer site: NSWCCD West Bethesda, MD. Peraton is hiring a Senior Naval Structures Modeling Engineer to do the following: Support the US Navy's Structural Acoustics research team at NSWC Carderock Division. Candidate will work with Finite Element Modeling / Finite Element Analysis (FEM/FEA) tools to support ongoing research into the acoustics of US Navy platforms. Significant portion of responsibilities will involve FEM/FEA research, and generation and test of FEM model meshes of complex Naval structures using commercial FEM tools. Additional efforts will include running FEA tools, generating results, and assisting Government SMEs in analysis of the FEA results.
