The Mechanical R&D Engineer II - Sports Medicine will perform engineering duties in designing and developing medical devices. Carries out engineering assignments that are broad in nature and require appreciable originality and ingenuity. Evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques and procedures using judgment to solve difficult technical challenges. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Plans and performs engineering assignments, including responsibility for engineering part of a major project, or performing project management and supportive development for a minor project. Conducts each assignment based on broader team input and customer needs. Translates, develops and documents engineering specifications based on user needs and design inputs. Ability to write and advise others of testing requirements, including development and execution or testing protocols and reports.
