Engineering department interns are assigned to one of two options: core structural engineering with analysis focus or civil engineering. Training involves hands-on experience with structural analysis software tools and theoretical-based training with licensed professionals, civil engineers, and structural engineers. Interns work in small groups alongside Senior Engineers to address the Company's needs. In the structural internship, the Engineering Intern performs structural analyses of cell phone towers and prepares formal, written reports detailing tower capacity and listing recommendations for modifications needed to increase capacity. Job Title: Video Surveillance Engineer Reports to: Construction and Infrastructure Manager Location: Sacramento, CA Days / Hours of Work As needed, Typically M-F 8am to 5pm PST JOB SUMMARY: Engaging with customers and survey potential job sites, taking detailed notes about customer's needs. Design complete turn-key access control and surveillance solutions for customers based upon customer's criteria and the estimation process during job walks stemming from professional experience utilizing those systems. Source product and write detailed proposals, including scope of work, labor estimations and bill of materials.
