ML6 is thrilled to be supporting one of our favourite clients, a medium sized multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm with a strong market reputation, in their search for a skilled Mechanical Engineer - Buildings, to work out of their London or Kitchener offices. What You'll Be Doing Participate in redline meetings with Design Leads and Project Leads to develop conceptual designs, identify potential issues, and review relevant codes. Prepare, assist, and/or review design briefs, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and alignment with project goals. Assist in reviewing and comparing equipment design costs, providing insights to inform project decisions. Serve as a technical advisor to the project team, offering guidance on engineering issues and design challenges. Conduct engineering reviews to ensure designs meet applicable codes and standards, ensuring accuracy and adequacy. Seal your own work as well as work prepared by other team members....
