The Engineering Manager acts as the group manager, reporting directly to the Sr Engineering Manager. In this position, the Engineering Manager is responsible for the career development of the Design Engineers to include training/coaching (both internal and external), career pathways, and skill development. The Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing the investigation, recommendation, and implementation of new technologies by the organization to best support both in-house processes and projects as well as those in support of end customer projects. In this role, the Engineering Manager is expected to conduct regular one on one meetings with their direct reports while conducting team meetings bi-weekly.
