Job Summary: Responsible for ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) Section 8 Division 1 code calculations on all proposed and sold pressure containing vessels. The Project Engineer takes the lead in the design and development of the project from the quoting stage all the way thru equipment installation and start-up. Duties/Responsibilities: Specifying a cost effective and reliable solution to meet or exceed the objective of the associated application Work closely with sales as a consultative selling partner to assist in converting the quote to an order Perform product design functions in the appropriate CAD software Ensure all designs are code compliant (when required), and all required documentation is provided Working knowledge and ability to apply ASME Pressure Vessel code section VIII, Division 1 to code calculations for pressure retaining vessel designs.
