Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and manage capital and expense budgets for manufacturing engineering, including expenditure planning, project justification, and ongoing tracking of spend. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Review manufacturing processes and implement cost effective improvements focusing on set-up and changeover time reductions and equipment uptime, and process improvements on a continual basis. Support and work closely with Production, Maintenance Purchasing, Marketing, R&D, and many other functions of the company, with implementing SOP's, setup instructions, training and debugging problem processes and equipment. Consult Safety team, advise, design, and implement safety devices and lead changes to processes and equipment where and when necessary. Analyze and reduce scrap and rework; identify reasons for scrap, implement corrective actions to reduce and monitor results, working with Quality department.
