SUMMARY OF POSITION: Under the direction of the Director of Engineering, the Design Engineer designs sheet metal products from components to complete assemblies, meeting or exceeding customer production and quality standards, and meeting customer delivery requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary occasionally. Design parts to manufacture either from a customer model or from a customer concept. This will include confirming all designed components meet the customer requirements. Review and interpret customer specifications and determine manufacturability with current capabilities.
