Job Description: Hobart Food Machines is part of the ITW Food Equipment Group. We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to build, validate, troubleshoot and design new parts and systems for commercial mixers and slicers, full-time, in our Troy, Ohio Technology Center. This position will report to the Engineering Manager and will be a part of the new product development team. Job Description Build, repair, test and modify commercial mixer and slicer prototypes at our development lab and local field test sites including complex mechanical and electrical assembly and troubleshooting. Design and facilitate engineering validation tests, fixtures and methodologies to assess new commercial food equipment designs. Champion ground-up design solutions for new product development.
