ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Design air-cooled heat exchangers per customer specifications, American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME), American Petroleum Institute (API) 661, American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE), and American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) Codes and Standards. Prepare design calculations and customer drawings for the above scope of work. This includes calculations for box headers, structural loads and steel member strength; creating the tube layout, generating detailed box header drawings, designing the fan drive, generating bundle and plan & elevation drawings, and generating weld inspection maps. Communicate with sales, customer, shop and detail drafters. Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on-site, ability to work overtime.
