The Architectural Drafter position at Engineered Facades, a division of Shiel Sexton, is an associate-level position on the construction side of our business. The primary responsibility of the drafter is to support the project managers and quality assurance manager with preparation of drawings and material take-offs of our construction projects. Tasks to fulfill these requirements may include, but are not limited to: Develop, submit and revise 2D shop drawings including key plan, elevations and details for jobs as well as product application. Prepare material cutting list. Obtain materials sizes and incorporate them into shop drawings to meet plans, specification and manufacturers' standards. Attend engineering reviews of plans/specs. Work with third party design/engineering professionals to develop complete project details.
