MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Write equipment installation and operation protocols. (IQ-OQ & SOP) Assist with the continuous improvement goals of Capstone Nutrition. Improve machine efficiencies, help manage new equipment installs. Design using CAD software new tooling and machine layouts for production equipment. Assist with design of new equipment and or modification to existing equipment & tooling. Reverse engineer existing high cost OEM parts to have fabricated in house or at a local machine shop. Assist the machine shop when needed using manual mills, lathes, band saw & edge break. Support daily production by identifying chronic issues and problems that cannot be resolved by production associates. Support continuous improvement activities by participating in Kaizen initiatives.
