BASIC PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Electrical Engineer is responsible for supporting engineering and maintenance activities related to electrical systems onshore and offshore oil and gas facilities. This role ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical equipment by conducting design reviews, troubleshooting, performance assessments, and regulatory compliance efforts. The engineer collaborates closely with operations, instrumentation, and project teams to maintain and upgrade systems as needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, specify, and oversee installation of electrical systems including MCCs, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, and generators. Perform routine and advanced troubleshooting of electrical power distribution systems, including low, medium, and high-voltage systems.
