Minneapolis, Minnesota POSITION: Mechanical Engineer DEPARTMENT: Engineering Department Primary Objective of Position: The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for high-level of execution of product design that specifies "what" is required (materials, tolerances, limits, etc.) on the product line documentation, that includes motors, generators and magnetic drives. Supports customer orders from the proposal phase through the design, development, manufacturing, testing, and field service/aftermarket phases. The Mechanical Engineer works in a team environment to insure collaboration and sharing of best mechanical engineering practices within the WEG Company.
