Position Overview The Design Engineer II is responsible for independently developing and executing designs for components and subsystems. This role requires strong CAD proficiency, application of engineering principles, and the ability to manage design deliverables throughout the product lifecycle. The DE II collaborates cross-functionally and supports project timelines while ensuring design quality and manufacturability. Position Overview The Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: concept design, review project design requirements, provide input for potential additional requirements, develop, and execute the design of ideas for the product, review and justify designs during preliminary and critical project design reviews. The Sr Design Engineer will create CAD models using MSI's parametric skeleton strategy, fully defining bill of materials of the system.
