Job Summary Responsible for the continued electrical systems development and design for FAA certified single engine aircraft. Perform detail design and analysis activity conducted in the area of electrical systems design and integration. Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions Responsible for the design, testing, certification, and ongoing engineering support of various aspects of aircraft electrical systems such as power generation and storage, power distribution, wire harness design, etc. Lead small teams of electrical engineers on complex projects. Mentor junior electrical engineers. Support mechanical and avionics systems with electrical integration data, including circuit design and analysis, electromagnetic effects/radiated field analysis, and troubleshooting. Schedule: Friday - Sunday; 5:00am - 5:30pm. This role is a weekend shift. Weekend shift has a 12% shift differential added on top of the base compensation as an incentive to work this shift. Responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving manufacturing processes, methods, and controls in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. Troubleshoots production issues to determine root cause and corrective actions. Coordinates manufacturing launch for new or revised products.
