TITLE Project Engineer COMPANY JTEKT Bearings North America DEPARTMENT Engineering LOCATION Sylvania, Georgia CLASSIFICATION Exempt REPORTS TO Engineering Supervisor Summary/Purpose Provide engineering expertise to support capital projects and daily manufacturing operations. Partner with cross-functional teams to help the plant meet objectives in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Develop, implement, and maintain systems, equipment, and processes that improve efficiency and support Toyota Production System (TPS) principles for continuous improvement. Essential Duties and Accountabilities: Design, develop, and improve equipment, processes, tooling, and systems used in manufacturing operations. Support the installation, maintenance, and optimization of production equipment to ensure performance, reliability, and safety.
