Key Responsibilities Develop and/or assist in the development of complete designs of new products, subassemblies, and components. Develop product improvements as either product line extensions or value engineering cost savings. Calculate and validate critical mechanical and/or electrical design parameters in order to ensure a safe, reliable and cost-effective designs. Collaborate with product development team, consultants, suppliers, and manufacturing to develop concepts, resolve design issues, and implement designs into production that meet cost, timeline, and specification targets. Primary Responsibilities: Conduct engineering research, design, and development for assigned projects, working independently or as a team member, while receiving or providing limited assistance from/to other team members where necessary.
