The Controls Engineer is a key member of the ETE engineering group responsible for the hands-on design, assembly, programming, and troubleshooting of automated test systems used to validate complex hydraulic and electronic automatic transmission assemblies and subcomponents. This position requires an engineer who can work directly with hardware, including wiring, harness integration, instrumentation setup, and test system commissioning. What you will do: The Senior Cell Validation Engineer is responsible for planning, executing and maintaining validation activities at Clarios' Lithium Ion and Advanced Products Laboratory. The engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams (cells, modelling, and functional safety teams) to create test specifications that will characterize the electrical, life, and safety performance of different cell chemistries. This role will be onsite in Glendale five days a week.
