Each project involves researching how a part functions in its aircraft or engine system, analyzing dimensions and materials, making design decisions grounded in measured data, and producing production-ready drawings per ASME Y14.5. Beyond their own design work, this individual serves as the engineering team's manufacturing SME, bringing firsthand knowledge of how parts are made, from stock material selection through final processing. Work is project-based and primarily autonomous, with collaboration from senior engineers, certification, quality, procurement, and manufacturing throughout.
