MANUFACTURING ENGINEER SUPPORT Manufacturing Engineering Group III Top out (at 5 years tenure) $27.48 Job Description: The Manufacturing Engineer Support associate reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and receives direction from the Sr. Manufacturing Engineering Technician or ME Technicians. Job Summary & Responsibilities : Handles requests from production teams related to job and assembly aides, templates, jigs, fixtures and tooling. Develops, designs, documents, builds and implements solutions to these production needs. Assist ME Techs in correcting fixture, tool and die issues. Many issues are related to bend dies and punch dies with scratched or wrinkled parts, dies needing shimmed, repaired or replaced. Create specifications, get quotes, write Purchase Orders as needed for all new tools and dies. Make repairs or modifications to existing jigs or fixtures.
