The Building Engineering Division at LaBella provides complete building engineering services including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural engineering. Services range from feasibility studies and analysis through project design and construction. Our engineers are well versed in new construction, renovations, additions, analysis, special structures, and design/build projects for a variety of clients. The Structural Discipline provides structural engineering services with emphasis on new design, repair, and rehabilitation of constructed works, as well as investigation and performance evaluation. About This Position: We are seeking Junior Engineers (0-2 years of experience) to complement existing engineering staff in our Highway group. Responsibilities may include: field work, traffic engineering and analysis of roadways, design and layout of project components in 2d and 3d, preparing construction drawings and documents, field observation for adherence to construction plans and specifications, report writing and cost estimating. Proficiency with either AutoCAD or Microstation, Inroads, AutoTurn, Synchro, Vissim and GIS software a plus, but not required Engineers I/II evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform a task or sequence of tasks for conventional types of plans, investigations, or surveys with relatively few complex features under the general guidance of a Project Engineer or Project Manager.
