Description Your role at GEI. GEI is expanding and we are seeking Geotechnical Engineers to join our growing Allendale MI office. The Geotechnical Engineer will coordinate, oversee, and manage subsurface exploration activities; develop geotechnical engineering reports, and support GEI's geotechnical and geostructural design teams with geotechnical design activities. Placement, responsibilities, and scope of work will be determined based on the applicant's experience and qualifications. Essential Responsibilities & Duties Coordinate with clients to schedule and perform subsurface exploration activities at various project sites. Coordinate, direct, and oversee drilling subcontractors during the exploration. Perform visual engineering classifications and lab testing on the recovered samples.
