Our entry-level Structural Design Engineer position is designed with future P.E.'s in mind. Our focus is on providing you with practical on-the-job learning that will develop your technical problem-solving skills and foster your professional development. During your training, you will develop a deeper understanding of: How a building is put together, before the designing begins. There are many trades involved in the process (general contractors, architects, owners, etc.) along with real-time problem-solving. How precast pieces are made. By visiting a client site, you will see first-hand how everything needs to fit together and perform its function. Engineering and drafting of wall panels, double T's, cladding systems, lateral systems etc. In your 4th year, you will be prepared to sit for the Professional Engineer examination.
