Job Summary In this newly added role, the Engineering Technician - Automation is responsible for supporting Automation Engineering in the development, build, installation of manufacturing equipment and tooling with an emphasis on mechatronics. Job Description Takes a lead role in installing both single pieces of equipment and whole manufacturing lines. To include: Works with equipment and line lay out drawings. Conducts mechanical assembly, drilling and tapping, and alignment Installs and integrates control items such as sensor and scanners. Installs and automation systems, PLCs and required electrical enclosures. Ensure and provide that the system installation is following the given schematics, electrical and process pipe line diagrams.
