THOR Solutions is actively seeking a highly motivated Lead Engineer to support marine engineering efforts for the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Navy, and commercial shipbuilding efforts in Arlington, VA . An ideal candidate will have prior experience leading teams working with Government or commercial shipbuilding programs, standards, and regulations. Typical Responsibilities: Lead a multi-disciplined team of engineers and designers in creating ship installation drawings, 3d models, calculations, and engineering change artifacts. Design, analyze, and integrate systems for ships and boats, including C5ISR, Combat Systems, propulsion, piping, HVAC, and machinery arrangements. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
