Job Purpose: Complete product design of mechatronic devices as defined from system level design requirements Use of defined product development process from concept initiation to system validation and production Primary Responsibilities: Complete product design and development of mechanical devices through use and application of mechanical engineering principles Define and document all component design attributes as needed to satisfy all system level design requirements Use of Computer Aided Design (CAD) to create and modify solid model components and assemblies Create product engineering drawings and apply appropriate GD&T requirements Complete dimensional tolerance and stack-up analysis on component assemblies Complete and document mechanical assembly stack analysis as required Create appropriate level of documentation of engineering analysis Document designs through use of assembly drawings and component part lists Complete Design Failure Mode Effects...
