The tooling engineering supports both groups to create a more efficient and repeatable manufacturing process insuring a consistent product. The tooling engineer is responsible for identifying gaps in the manufacturing process and designing tools, fixtures, and processes to close those gaps. The tooling engineering will be a champion in driving a culture of continuous improvement.
