Popli Design Group (PDG) is seeking a Senior Substation Engineer to join our growing team. The Senior Substation Engineer is required to work within a multi-discipline team to design efficient and reliable electrical substations. The engineer will coordinate his/her design activities to maintain project schedules and ensure successful project completion. The engineer will also assist the Estimating Team in preparation of estimates and project proposals. Aside from engineering duties, PDG is looking for the incumbent to be able to provide a presence to our area clients. We are looking for someone to be our "face" to the client. Significant client face time and interaction is required. A strong business sense would be beneficial. JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE The Industrial Engineer 1 is responsible for analyzing, developing, and optimizing labor standards, production processes, and material flows to improve operational efficiency, cost effectiveness, and throughput within a contract manufacturing environment. This role conducts detailed time and motion studies, maintains labor models used for quoting and capacity planning, and applies Lean Manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives across production and warehouse operations.
