RESPONSIBILITIES : The duties & responsibilities of the Senior Design Engineer include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: Create and manage releases, supplier sourcing, and placing parts on contract. Manage document control team and control engineering ISO documentation and procedures. Coordinate with prototype build team to ensure that schedules are accomplished within time and money estimates. Manage the manufacturing of new product creation from prototype to production level, including provision of technical guidance / assistance. Predict product reliability and performance using engineering analysis tools. Create solid model concepts, simulations and required analysis culminating into complete product assemblies using SolidWorks. Confirming product specifications and investigating the use of new materials or other devises in prototype development.
