Description The Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Engineer is an integral part of the VDC team. This role is responsible for working with the VDC managers to assist the design and trade partner coordination process. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong proficiency in visualizing the constructability of various projects. In this role you may be required to travel up to 15% of the time. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Support one to three VDC deliverables at a time under close supervision Translate 2D drawings and specs into a complete 3D/4D Models Stay informed on other BIM related software and how they work with the various VDC software Support the pre-construction process by producing and adjusting models as required for constructability reviews, quantity take-offs, project scheduling, and cost estimates Support VDC coordination kick-off meeting and subsequent meetings Support project setup for 3D trade...
