Description The Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Engineer is an integral part of the VDC team. This role is responsible for working with the VDC managers to assist the design and trade partner coordination process. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong proficiency in visualizing the constructability of various projects. In this role you may be required to travel up to 15% of the time. PURPOSE The primary responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer II involves the design, development, modification, and implementation of Electrical/Electronic subsystems for a high-speed document scanner. This engineer must have knowledge of digital electronics and electrical hardware systems. This individual is required to work closely with an experienced team of electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, firmware engineers, and manufacturing engineers, as well as with product management to assure that project goals are being met across interdepartmental boundaries.
