The position will have the opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world situations on projects involving design, permitting, and construction of civil infrastructure; building foundations; solid waste containment systems, reservoirs, dams, levees and other water containment and control structures. Typical work assignments include but are not limited to geotechnical subsurface investigation; geo-instrumentation install and monitoring; slope stability analysis; stormwater treatment, conveyance, and detention/retention design; construction quality assurance all while learning the business skills needed for a successful consulting career.
