Job Summary: The Mechanical Engineer designs, develops, investigates, and specifies mechanical controls, systems, equipment, and devices for manufacturing, testing and facility management. Main Responsibilities: • Supply technical support to the manufacturing team. • Supply technical support to field service and maintenance operations for this equipment's operation. • Perform engineering calculations, component sizing, component selection, machine design, and document control. • Involvement in concept definition, system design, component selection, testing, verification, and validation of prototypes and final products. • Will interact with procurement, manufacturing assembly and operations. • Work with customers and suppliers to define equipment specifications, resolve fabrication issues, resolve quality issues, and support the deployment of equipment. • Use SolidWorks and CAD to perform design and drafting functions. • Prepare project documentation including risk assessments,...
