Job Type Full-time Description Viken Detection is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing, highly collaborative engineering team. This role will play a key technical leadership position in the development of next-generation X-ray and chemical detection systems, spanning precision handheld devices to large-scale vehicle and cargo scanning platforms. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead complex mechanical designs, mentor junior engineers, and partner closely with Engineering, Physics, Program Management, and Operations to drive products from concept through full-rate production and sustaining engineering.
