ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Perform air-cooled heat exchanger structural design to American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE), the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction (CISC), American Petroleum Institute (API 661) and customer specifications. Serve as structural Professional Engineer (PE) of record, reviewing and stamping project drawings and calculations. Develop, adopt and maintain corporate and site-specific structural engineering standards. Prepare design calculations and customer drawings for the above scope of work. This includes Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and other structural static and dynamic load analysis. Check structural designs and drawings of other Mechanical Design Engineers.
