Overview: Egan is looking for a Production Engineer who will provide comprehensive production needs for systems and parts used in purchasing, fabrication, and installation of curtain wall/metal panel systems. Responsibilities: Coordinate production activities and ensure they are completed on schedule, within budget, and with a high level of quality and accuracy. Provide comprehensive production needs: Examine extrusion and accessory takeoffs for curtain wall/storefront orders. Perform stock length takeoffs to optimize material usage and maximize savings. Perform accurate accessory takeoffs Learn system specific components and offer solutions or alternative material usage to achieve better manufacturing and purchasing results Sheet metal takeoffs for brake metal/panel orders.
