Job Description: Ghafari Associates is seeking a Structural Engineering intern to work fully in-office at our Chicago, IL location for the period of May - August 2027. General Summary: The Intern, under direction from the discipline Manager and/or project engineer, applies CAD/Revit skills and design knowledge in generating engineering design documents, digital models and databases. Essential Job Functions: Create engineering documents using computer aided design (CAD) technology utilizing AutoCAD and/or Revit software. Work closely with engineers during design phase of a project to understand scope of the project information to determine design data needs and guidelines for the project. Provide limited design on documents and detail design documents with input from engineers. Make corrections and produce final documents for engineers review.
