Position Description At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer II - Product Development to join the Architectural Systems Engineering Team in Chicago, IL . This position will lead the functional development of luminaires through a stage-gate process. There will be a high level of collaboration with manufacturing on prototype and pilot builds prior to product launch along with guiding the projects through optical, safety and reliability testing. Project management skills will be honed on large scale projects, including, project timeline creation, achieving product cost and budget targets, and providing presentations to the leadership team at each key milestone.
