Adjunct - Civil Engineering Technology Overview Classroom instruction for courses in the following areas: • Fundamentals of Construction, Building and Structural Design • Use of CAD for construction plans including design of mechanical, HVAC, and lighting systems for buildings • Residential, Commercial, and Industrial Construction processes, including project documentation, building methods and materials, estimating, and scheduling • Surveying equipment and fundamentals of civil and site design, including boundary resolution, subdivision design, geographic information systems (GIS), and global positioning systems (GPS) • Computer Software used in the Building Industry including AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, Revit MEP, Revit Structure, Civil 3D and ARC GIS.
