Responsibilities include reviewing and evaluating stormwater-related permit applications, development plans, right-of-way utilization permits, and engineering submittals for compliance with County, State, and Federal regulations . The position also conducts inspections of permitted stormwater facilities to verify compliance with approved plans, permits, and maintenance requirements. The Civil Engineer I applies engineering principles to protect and maintain the County's stormwater infrastructure while coordinating with regulatory agencies, consultants, developers, contractors, and internal County departments.
