JOB SUMMARY: The Engineering Technician I is responsible for providing hands on technical support to the engineering, technology and/or systems engineering functions. Support may be required during the design, development, assembly and test phases of process equipment, instrumentation, tooling, etc. The Engineering Technician I is given assignments that are less complex. Technical oversight and direction is provided. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES): • Support engineering staff during the assembly, test and qualification of various equipment, instrumentation, tooling, etc. required for process systems • Prepare simple assembly drawings, equipment/floor layouts, specifications, training documentation, process instructions and procedures, etc. via hand drawn sketches and standard office applications • Utilize a variety of standard test equipment, gauges and other measurement equipment to evaluate and document the performance of components, sub-assemblies and complex...
