The Civil/Structural Engineer will be assigned projects within their discipline provide expert engineering support to other mechanical and electrical project managers on machine rebuilds, alterations, building additions or improvement projects. This involves designing, estimating, preparing appropriation requests, scheduling, developing equipment specifications, coordinating construction, cost control, operating manuals, maintenance manuals, spare parts, and start-up training.
