Weston & Sampson is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer to lead transformative transportation projects that enhance safety, mobility, and quality of life across communities in the Southeast. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of how people move-through innovative design, data-driven solutions, and strategic planning. What you'll do: Lead and manage traffic engineering projects, including traffic operations studies, signal design, and corridor analysis. Perform and oversee traffic modeling and simulation using tools such as Synchro, HCS, and VISSIM. Develop detailed plans for traffic signals, signing and pavement markings, and traffic control in compliance with state and local standards. Conduct safety assessments, intersection improvement studies, and access management evaluations to enhance roadway performance.
