CNC Swiss Engineering Technician Shift: Mon-Thu 5pm-5am Position Summary This role is working with Engineering to coordinate all production and post processing activities. The Engineering Technician will create CNC code that performs a capable, repeatable process, perform process troubleshooting, process improvements, validations, qualifications, and change control. Key Responsibilities: • Interpret print and models, create CNC programs and set up machines to produce the component for Swiss or Milling machine centers • Select cutting tools that will achieve cost effective tool life and fully utilize the tool • Develop a process that is capable, cost effective and sustainable • Write work instructions and procedures to support the process • Full understanding of G-code • Advocate and implement the highest quality standards and LEAN principles • Assess and communicate technical specifications to all departments • Identify and complete continuous improvement projects o Cycle...
